Shamisen

There's a festival held in Koenji, Tokyo every year on the last weekend of August.
It's called Koenji Awaodori.
This phot was taken 2011 and of a "shamisen" player.
Usually, the festival starts at 6pm and finishes at 9pm.
However, because of the nuclear incident, much of Tokyo was left short of electricity.
The organisers rescheduled it to the afternoon and it was held from 3 - 6 pm.
